So Happy Together: A Librarian-Laden Happy Hour Sponsored by ACRL MD, MILEX and SLA
March 30, 2012Posted by on
Join ARCL MD, the Maryland Information Literacy Exchange and the Maryland Chapter of the Special Libraries Association for a happy hour at Alewife in Baltimore! Get to know colleagues from around the area, share ideas and make new connections. We’ll provide some hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will be available. The event will take place from 6-8pm on Thursday, April 12, and the cost to you is just your drink order!
For those among us who struggle with networking, we’re putting together a painless (and hopefully, personally useful!) activity to encourage you to circulate and talk with new colleagues.
There is no registration fee, though we do ask that you RSVP to the Facebook event or by contacting Joanna Gadsby (firstname.lastname@example.org) so we have an accurate headcount.
Directions to Alewife can be found here. And don’t worry, we’ve made sure to choose a night that the Hippodrome is dark, so there should be plenty of parking!
