Takin’ It to the Streets: Steering Students Toward Information Literacy
Thursday, May 10
11am – noon
The days are long gone where we expect students to come to us for research help only. Instead, the librarians at Salisbury University have been “takin’ it to the streets” to better connect with their students where they live. This presentation will review three distinct and innovative programs, from design to implementation, review, and assessment. Find out how our 10 & 2 Research Clinics cover a broad range of pressing and relevant topics, how our Roving Reference taps into the emerging trend of mobile technologies, and how our Emergency Research is an experiment in reaching students at locations around the campus.
